The Lakers picked up a big Friday night victory over the San Antonio Spurs, 123-118. 

Behind a combined 58 points and 20 rebounds from LeBron James and Anthony Davis, the Lakers emphasized their typical bread and butter en route to defeating Victor Wembanyama's squad. 

D'Angelo Russell and Rui Hachimura added solid performances, with the former finishing with 22 and the latter having 17 on just 11 shots. 

As LA's offense continues to hum, expect repeated quality performances from the pieces around James and Davis. 

For the Spurs, Wemby had 27 points, 12 rebounds, 8 assists, 4 steals, and 6 blocks in just 31 minutes. San Antonio continues to have him on both a minutes and usage restriction, but for what it's worth, fans continue to get what they were hoping to see from him.
