Lakers Injury News: LA Superstar Status Uncertain For Showdown with Kings
The Los Angeles Lakers have another must-win game in their hands on Wednesday when they take on the Sacramento Kings. However, they could be without their superstar forward, LeBron James.
According to the Lakers injury report, James is listed as questionable due to his left ankle injury. Lakers reporter Mike Trudell shared vias X.
James appeared to have injured his left ankle more in last Wednesday's matchup against the King. He left for the locker room before the end of the game.
That caused the 39-year-old to miss Friday's matchup against the Milwaukee Bucks. But he was healthy enough to play on Sunday against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
James' presence would be sorely missed, especially against the Kings, who the Lakers have struggled with for the past two seasons. It's a must-win game for the Lakers as they look to inch closer to a top-six seed.
All signs point to Laker superstar Anthony Davis being on the court. Five Laker players are ruled out, including Cam Reddish, Jarred Vanderbilt, Gabe Vincent, Colin Castleton, and Christian Wood.
