Lakers Injury Report: Key LA Starter Out Against Portland on Sunday

The Lakers will be without a key forward.

The Los Angeles Lakers will be without one of their key starters for tonight's matchup against the Portland Trail Blazers. After being listed as questionable, Lakers forward Taurean Prince is now ruled out for tonight's contest.

Prince is out due to left knee soreness.

This will be Prince's third game he will miss of the season. In 41 games of action, Prince has put up 9.8 points a game while shooting 42.6% from the field while shooting 38.7% from three, along with 2.8 rebounds and 1.8 assists.

His minutes have been up and down, but he's remained a steady starter throughout the season. The Lakers will have another starting lineup out there tonight, and hopefully, it's the group that took them to the Western Conference Finals.

It's a must-win against the Trail Blazers tonight, so the other players will need to step up. L.A. needs this victory to get back to .500, so the hope is that they come out ready to go from the opening tip.
