Lakers Injury Report: LeBron James, Anthony Davis Status Revealed for In-Season Tournament Game vs Grizzlies
The Los Angeles Lakers are getting set for their second In-Season Tournament game on Tuesday, and their first one at home.
The Lakers beat the Phoenix Suns in their In-Season Tournament opener on Friday in an exciting game, and will look to move to 2-0 in the group stage round on Tuesday. For all the information on the In-Season Tournament, click here.
As for Tuesday's game, Lakers star LeBron James was on the injury report with the left calf contusion that forced him to miss Sunday's win against the Portland Trail Blazers. Head coach Darvin Ham even revealed about an hour before tip-off that James was a true game-time decision.
However, the final injury report is in, and James is going to suit up on Tuesday in the In-Season Tournament home opener. Additionally, Anthony Davis, who was considered probable to play, is going to suit up, too.
With James back and Davis playing, the Lakers will be as healthy as they've been in a long time. Just Jarred Vanderbilt, Gabe Vincent and Jalen Hood-Schifino will be out for LA, but Vanderbilt is nearing a return as the team announced on Monday.
The Lakers are currently tied for first place in the "West: Group A" standings alongside the Blazers and Utah Jazz, who play on Tuesday night, too. The Suns are 0-1 while the Grizzlies are 0-2.
