Lakers Injury Report: LeBron James Status For LA-Minnesota Game Revealed
The Los Angeles Lakers will take on the Minnesota Timberwolves tonight, as the team tries to move past its three-game losing skid. Despite the team getting relatively healthy, tonight's game has resulted in a huge loss.
LeBron James and Gabe Vincent have both been ruled out of the game. To make matters worse, Anthony Davis is also still nursing an ankle injury that has left his status questionable.
James often battles through injuries, but he has been designated with a left ankle peroneal tendinopathy. This will keep the King away from the court, which is a smart move by the Lakers.
James has been a wonder on the court despite the issues that the team has had these past three games. LeBron posted 18 points in their loss to the Rockets, 30 in their loss to the Heat, and 24 in their loss to the Magic.
It is better to allow James to rest and recover, so the Lakers can go on more of a run in the near future. The Lakers have been banged up all season, and its time to possibly sacrifice a few more losses to allow everyone to recover fully.
