Since the aqusition of star guard Luka Doncic, the Lakers have been playing very well. While it has taken some time for the guard to acclimate into the Lakers system, it has been a nice pairing overall.
However, Doncic has landed on the injury report for the game against the Clippers. The guard is now being listed as questionable for the contest.
Doncic had a knee-to-knee collision on Thursday night against the Minnesota Timberwolves but the team has said that it's nothing series. But due to the fact that Los Angeles will be playing a back-to-back in this game, Doncic could sit out.

The Lakers will likely want to be cautious with their star guard as he is still returning to play after a long layoff. Doncic hadn't played since Christmas Day due to a calf issue before he made his debut with the Lakers earlier this month.

If Doncic can't give it a go tonight, others will need to step up. But with it being a back-to-back, it remains to be seen who will be available for the game.
Co-star LeBron James could be given the night off to prioritize his body for the stretch run of the season. James was special against the Timberwolves, putting up 33 points, 17 rebounds, six assists, one block, and one steal.
Los Angeles needed everything that James gave to them in the win but it could see him sit out this contest. The Lakers will know more about the status of Doncic as we get closer to the start of the game throughout the day.
