Ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympics, Team USA has put together a list of 41 finalists for their Olympic roster.

Three of your Los Angeles Lakers have popped up on the list, the most of any team.

LeBron James, Anthony Davis, and Austin Reaves have received the honor of being named finalists, with all 3 of them having been members of Team USA in the past.

More than likely, James and Davis will secure spots without much issue, as James is himself and there are few high-end big men with American eligibility (besides Bam Adebayo and Joel Embiid), with Davis being better than Adebayo.

Reaves, however, joins a laundry list of guards that are incredibly talented, and playing a crowded position doesn't help him. He played well for the team this past summer, but procuring a roster spot while competing with the likes of Stephen Curry, Damian Lillard, Devin Booker, Trae Young, Kyrie Irving, Tyrese Haliburton, Jalen Brunson, Anthony Edwards, and more, will prove to be extremely difficult.

The roster only has 12 spots, meaning several players the caliber of Jimmy Butler, Kyrie Irving, and Anthony Edwards will be left off. Let's see if Reaves can play up to the competition come final roster cuts.
