Lakers News: Anthony Davis And Family Sit Courtside For WNBA All-Star Game

Always supporting!
In this story:

During the 2023 NBA offseason, Los Angeles Lakers superstar Anthony Davis has made sure to keep himself busy. He was coming off of one of his most dominant playoff campaigns on both ends of the floor and even though things didn't end the way he and his team hoped, LA's front office made sure to bolster their roster with all of the right pieces to ensure they can run it back with an even better shot.

And AD has heard all of the noise about how he cannot stay healthy and how Denver Nuggets Finals MVP Nikola Jokic manhandled him in the Western Conference Finals. Davis has gone on record saying that the only thing that holds him back is his health at times and even though injuries led to him missing a number regular season games, he was healthy throughout the entirety of the 2023 playoffs.

The eight-time All-Star already went viral about a week ago for switching up his offseason training regimen and actually hopping in the boxing ring. Boxing is a different type of training than he usually opts for and it helps stamina, breathing and helps build strength in different areas of his body.

But AD makes sure that even when he is resting and going out with his family that he is still around the game of basketball and supporting the community. The WNBA All-Star game took place recently and he made sure that he was court side for it.

Davis has also expressed his appreciation for women's basketball in the past!

"I kind of just fell in love with the game," said Davis. "Then just watching the women play and just kind of kept with it all the way until I got to the league and realizing how much attention they weren’t getting from fans and things like that and the whole women empowerment movement and the guys in the league pushing for more women to [have] higher pay and more viewership and everything like that so I became even more of a fan and actually watching and realizing how talented that the women are you become a fan of that and you become a fan of the game of basketball from their side.”
