Since winning the NBA In-Season Tournament, your Los Angeles Lakers have stumbled in the last few games. They may have partied a little too hard while in Las Vegas, and it's catching up to them.

The Lakers have gone 1-3 since taking down the Indiana Pacers in the title game of the tournament. However, the players have pushed back at the concept of a championship hangover stemming from their time in Las Vegas.

Lakers star Anthony Davis opened up about why he believes the Lakers have struggled since winning the tournament.

“Yeah. The championship hangover. I don’t think that it’s one of those,” Davis said. “I mean, we go in and have a battle against Dallas. Win against San Antonio. And then obviously let one slip away again against them. And then a fight tonight. I don’t think it’s one of those things where we’re hungover from the in-season tournament.”

The Pacers themselves are 1-4 since playing in the tournament as well. It could just be that the teams are tired, as we are getting into the second full month of the season.

LeBron James knows how to navigate these types of situations better than anyone. He has seen it all during his time in the NBA, and even he has chalked it up to a "little bit of everything".

“I don’t know,” he said. “Have you seen Indiana’s record since Vegas?”

Per Broderick Turner of The Los Angeles Times

The biggest issue for the Lakers has been their slow starts to games. They are often playing catch-up before they even know it, and it has plagued them all season long.

The team has a three-game road trip coming up, and they can use this time to start really bonding. They need to start grabbing wins consistently, otherwise, they will find themselves falling out of the standings once again.
