Your 15-10 Los Angeles Lakers got back in the win column on Wednesday night, taking down the San Antonio Spurs by a score of 122-119. It was an easy game for LA for the most part, but San Antonio did fight back toward the end.

LA was outscored by 15points  in the fourth quarter. At one point, San Antonio cut down the Lakers' 20-point lead heading into the quarter to just a single point. But they were able to hold on for the win, despite the best efforts from the Spurs.

San Antonio rookie big man Victor Wembanyama showed out against the Lakers, dropping 30 points and 13 rebounds. It was the first time that LA had seen Wembanyama play, and he seemed to make a fan.

Lakers star center Anthony Davis was impressed by the play of Wembanyama and praised him after the game.

Davis dropped 37 points and 10 rebounds himself, marking a great matchup between the two players. Davis showed that he is still one of the more dominant players in the league, and he has been on a tear of late.

Wembanyama is a unique talent, and LA got to see it up close. His ability to score from anywhere on the floor is impressive.

As Davis said, he was the first overall pick for a reason, and so far, the hype around him has been justified. The Spurs themselves just haven't been a very good team, but that isn't the fault of Wembanyama.

The Lakers will have another chance to face off against Wembanyama on Friday, as the two teams meet again. Davis going up against Wembanyama makes for a great matchup, and we can't wait to see how it unfolds again.
