The Los Angeles Lakers got a huge road win on Saturday evening, dispatching the Cleveland Cavaliers by a score of 121-115. It was a total team effort and was arguably their best victory of the season.

Guard Austin Reaves continued his hot play off the bench, adding 15 points and 10 assists. He spoke after the game about how he has been able to impact things for this team of late.

“Any time you can get that assist number up, it means you’re playing the game the right way,” Reaves said. “The team did a really good job trying to make winning plays.”

Reaves has been making impact plays with the ball in his hands since going to the bench a few games ago. His skill set is exactly what the Lakers need around their stars, and he is finally looking like the player everyone thought he could be.

In addition to Reave's strong game, star Anthony Davis put in work against Cleveland. he posted 32 points and 13 rebounds to lead the team, and it prompted star LeBron James to shout him out after the fact.

“Tonight was an A.D. game for us,” James said. “He needs to touch the ball, and we want him to be aggressive offensively and anchor our defense. He did a great job attacking the basket and guarding the glass.”

The key for the Lakers is Davis playing aggressively each time out. When he is at his best, the Lakers become a very tough team to take down, but there are times when he looks checked out.

Against Cleveland, he made it his mission to be aggressive, and it showed in the final game score. LA doesn't win the game without Davis, and they will need more games like this coming from him going forward.
