Team USA is off to a very nice start in the 2023 FIBA World Cup and with two straight wins against New Zealand and Greece, there is plenty to be excited about moving forward.

Austin Reaves... he just keeps getting BETTER. It's not like he has to drop 30 points or cash in seven three's to make his impact felt, anytime that Reaves enters and exits the game it is felt by the entire team. He is becoming an excellent option as a catch-and-shoot guy and also someone that can create his own offense and find others.

We saw flashes of this during Team USA's first five exhibition games as he started getting comfortable coming off the bench and playing with others but once the real games start is when the impact matters.

One of the best moments that came from any of the squad's victories thus far has to be when Reaves got a wide-open fast break opportunity and as he rose up for a two-handed dunk, Tyrese Haliburton jumped in unison with him to create the perfect picture frame for the Twitter fans.

Both guards actually reacted to the image of them going viral and shared the backstory behind that play.

"This is one of my favorite pictures of all time honestly," said Reaves.

"Austin wasn't going to dunk it at first," said Haliburton. "He was like 'Should I dunk it?' I was like 'Yeah dunk the ball!' so we were all just happy to get a W."

"He was yelling at me to dunk it as soon as I stole it," said Reaves. "I was thinking about dribbling it out. Once I heard him yelling at me, I was like 'Alright, I guess I have to."

It's been nothing short of amazing to see Reaves not only shine at the international level but also to connect with his teammates both on and off the court... let's see how they take care of business moving forward!
