Lakers News: Darvin Ham Makes His Pick For The NBA GOAT

He wasn't shy about his choice here!

One of the biggest NBA debates in recent years has been about who the Greatest Player of All-Time is. The GOAT discussion has been a heated one between fans, and media members alike, but it’s one that also can be a ton of fun.

Both Michael Jordan and LeBron James have a claim to the throne, but the gap between them has gotten smaller of late. Many older fans still believe Jordan owns the title, while the younger generation seems to look at James as the GOAT.

Jordan has been retired for some time, while James is still playing at a very high level, and has a chance to add to his resume. Another title for James could be what really pushes him over the edge with fans, and he has a great shot at it this coming season.

Lakers head coach Darvin Ham was asked who he thought the GOAT was, and he emphatically picked his star player. You can see the video of Ham below!

It’s only fitting that Ham picks James, even if he doesn’t believe it. But knowing how Ham operates, he does believe it, because he normally only speaks the truth. He also has seen James up close and has gotten a chance to witness the greatness of James day after day.

The league has never seen a player like James before, and his longevity has been something to behold. Entering his 21st season in the NBA, James is still a top player across the league, and he is determined to prove anyone who doubts him wrong.

Father Time has started to catch up with James, but he continues to push limits. It has been incredible to see, and he looks ready for another solid season.

With the Lakers stocking up their roster this offseason, LA should be a top team in the Western Conference again.
