Lakers News: Darvin Ham Praises "Care Factor" Of Superstar After Thunder Win
The Los Angeles Lakers got back in the win column after beating the West's No. 2-seeded Oklahoma City Thunder 112-105, on Monday night. The Lakers spent the majority of the game with the lead, and luckily, they never let it slip through their fingertips.
LA brought their 'A' game against the talented Thunder team, and it was all led by their superstar big man Anthony Davis.
Davis was the contest's leading scorer (27 points on 9-of-17 shootng from the floor and 9-of-10 shooting from the foul line) and did all he could on both sides of the ball to help propel LA to victory.
AD put up dominant numbers once again. Although his numbers are vital, Laker head coach Darvin Ham loves his competitiveness and winning mentality.
For the past five years, we've gotten to know AD a bit off the court, and it's obvious he only cares about winning. While fans, NBA experts, commentators, and analysts care about his numbers and how good or bad he looks, AD only cares about winning.
He expresses that time and time again, and his mood is affected by whether we come out on top or not. That's the only thing that matters to the Laker champion and the only thing that matters to us Laker fans.
AD does everything he can to make sure his team comes out on top, and Monday's victory was no expectation. Luckily, he looked good going it, putting up a the aforementioned game-high of 27 points, along with 15 rebounds, five assists, two steals, and one block, to grab their 20th win of the season.
Davis and the Lakers will look to build on this and get a winning streak going. The team will next face off against another club currently ahead of it in the West, the sixth-seeded Dallas Mavericks, on Wednesday.
