The Los Angeles Lakers find themselves sitting with a 6-5 record through the first 11 games of the season. But things could be a lot worse considering the amount of injuries the team has seen already.

They have been missing guys left and right, and it has cost them on the court. For the most part, they have battled through adversity, but it has seen them drop some games that they should have won.

However, head coach Darvin Ham isn't too concerned with the efforts, and he believes they will figure it out once they get healthy.

“As we get more comfortable and familiar with one another, as we continue to plant the seeds and water them, I think you’ll see the growth here pretty soon,” Ham said. “You’re already seeing flashes of it, albeit different guys [have] been missing out the lineup at various times. But just the core belief of the way we have to play in order to win games, and it all starts on the defensive end.”

Per Dan Woike of The Los Angeles Times

As the team gets their guys back into the rotation, things should get better all around. They haven’t had their entire roster healthy the entire season, and it has hurt them on the floor.

The main players that have been out are forward Jarred Vanderbilt and guard Gabe Vincent. Vanderbilt has missed the entire year so far, but just received some positive news that he should be able to return very soon. Vincent has missed the last few games, but the team remains hopeful for his return soon.

These are two of the main rotational players for the Lakers, and they miss having them on the floor. They both are strong defenders, so the defense has been lacking without their services.
