Lakers News: Epic New Los Angeles Mural Unveiled
The Los Angeles Lakers and murals around the city go hand and hand. It’s a tradition from fans as old as time and an awesome way for everyone to connect. Over the years, we have seen some really cool and vivid murals of art pop up all over the city of angels and just recently, another was unveiled.
The mural was unveiled in Koreatown in downtown Los Angeles and it displays the incredible cultural vibrancy of the area. It features some of the best players to ever wear the purple and gold including Kobe Bryant twice in both his number eight and number 24 jersey, Shaquille O'Neal, Magic Johnson, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Pau Gasol and even current Lakers LeBron James and Anthony Davis.
According to the team, the partnership with bibigo is to create a lasting impact of change in communities such as Koreatown. The hope is to bring out creativity and culture that shows how diverse and inclusive neighborhoods around the Los Angeles area are.
Los Angeles is known for the different cultures that reside in the area and the mural is just another reminder of that. These murals do a great job at bringing people together and celebrating the rich history of the Los Angeles Lakers and the city itself.
