Lakers News: How To Watch Tonight's Critical LA-Brooklyn Clash
Tonight, your 21-21 Los Angeles Lakers will look to surpass a .500 record once again, as they'll host the lowly-but-competent 16-24 Brooklyn Nets at Crypto.com Arena.
LA will once again see national broadcast action, as the contest will be televised on ESPN, as well as Spectrum SportsNet and Spectrum SportsNet+ locally. For those of you who'll be on the road, you can tune in to ESPN LA 710 AM radio or 1330 KWKW.
The action tips off at 7:30 p.m. PT.
The Nets are +7 underdogs in LA against the Lakers, who are hoping to string together a third straight win, and their fifth victory across their last seven contests. Brooklyn, meanwhile, has lost nine of its last ten bouts (including four in a row), and is hoping to stop the bleeding against one of the NBA's weaker offenses.
But the Lakers boast the best two players in the game in future Hall of Famers Anthony Davis and LeBron James, along with one of the league's biggest, most physical defenses (anchored by The Brow). It may be an ugly win tonight, but Los Angeles should be able to get it done.
Ahead of the game, Nets head coach Jacque Vaughn weighed in on his club's struggles, per NBA.com.
"There are just stretches of the game, whether it's a lack of focus, (the opposing) team getting to a 50-50 ball or an offensive rebound that kicks the momentum to their direction," Vaughn said. "It's an accumulation of plays and really valuing every single possession, not leaving anything on the table."
