Your Los Angeles Lakers put together one of their best wins of the season on Tuesday evening against the Utah Jazz, a 131-99 blowout. The team led from start to finish, and they enjoyed a relatively easy game.

It was the type of game that this Lakers squad needed after some very taxing matchups of late. LA took it to the Jazz from the opening tip, and with the win, they clinched a spot in the quarterfinals of the In-Season Tournament.

The Lakers have been very motivated to win the new event, and it showed against Utah. Jazz head coach Will Hardy applauded LA for their physical approach to the game, and he spoke about it after the matchup.

"That was a really tough game, really from start to finish," Hardy said. "That's a really physical team. Our lack of physicality, in particular on offense, led us to have very sloppy offensive possessions, and when you couple that with not making really any shots … playing against that team in transition over and over and over again is difficult."

The Lakers have been known to bully teams, even when their shots aren't falling. The front office has built up a good roster of players who aren't afraid to be physical with opponents, and that makes for some great basketball.

"We needed to play our most physical game of the year and we did not," Hardy said.

With the win, the Lakers extended their winning streak to three games. They have started to play a little more consistently of late, and it has resulted in them grabbing victories to help in the standings.
