Lakers News: Los Angeles Fans Furious At Darvin Ham After Kings Loss

As your Los Angeles Lakers underwent a 41-point swing (not a typo), going from a 19-point first quarter lead to a 22-point second half deficit, during their eventual 130-120 loss to the Sacramento Kings, irate fans flocked to the Social Media Platform Formerly Known As Twitter (we can call it X) to shred second-year head coach Darvin Ham.
Ham's coaching tactics came under major scrutiny during the bout. All-Star center Anthony Davis was limited to a scant 14 points, thanks to aggressive Kings double coverage, supplied by ex-Lakers head coach Mike Brown.
Fire Ham agenda needs to speed up. https://t.co/QjwDCykoW1

Radically, Ham opted to go mega-small ball at one point when The Brow ran into some foul issues:
Taurean Prince playing Center against the Kings with AD in foul trouble. Play Hayes or Giles

Defensive choices operated as a recurrent talking point.
Do yall get how insane it is that Ham chose to play drop vs Fox/Monk & force Austin/Prince/Spence fight over screens chasing 2 of the fastest guards who are great shooters.

In the matchup where Max has shown to be an amazing defender, he only gave him 11 minutes!
FIRE HAM!!!!!
One fan expressed a desire for LA to go one step further than firing Ham alone, agitating for the club to give the boot to the man who hired him, team president Rob Pelinka:
Lakers should probably fire Rob Pelinka this summer.

Fire Ham.
Bring in Bob Myers if he’s in.
Ham's decision to not even call a timeout during a decisive 21-2 Kings tear was, uh, not particularly well-received.

The hands-in-pockets look proved to be pretty popular in fans' encapsulation of this moment.

A non-Lakers NBA appreciator took to criticizing LA fandom as a whole, for its epic online mood swings during disappointing wins and underwhelming losses.
Laker fans have no shame.. Beat OKC one night and yall are winning the west AD is DPOY and lebron is the goat. Lose the next game and they need to get rid of AD, DLO and fire Ham. There’s no in between 😂
