Lakers News: LA Majority Owner Reviews Rob Pelinka's Offseason Signings
After bowing out in the Western Conference Finals in the spring, the Los Angeles Lakers retooled their roster this past summer through free agency.
Among many moves, Lakers governor Jeanie Buss applauded GM Rob Pelinka and the rest of the team's front office for their efforts to improve the squad in an interview with SportsKeeda.
With the changes to the roster that Rob made, that will give Darvin the necessary tools that he needs to take us to that next level. The end of last season wasn’t just a one off. It’s the momentum that we’re going to continue to build. Stay tuned. There will be more.

LA made a concerted effort this year to retain their depth rather than chase a big star as they had in years past through the Russell Westbrook trade and the rumors around Kyrie Irving to pair with both Anthony Davis and Lebron James.
Instead of the big splash for Irving or even James Harden, the Lakers instead decided to bring back their guys from their surprise playoff run.
The team re-signed forward Rui Hachimura on a three-year deal after his stellar playoff run. Austin Reaves returned on a new four-year contract to shore up the backcourt alongside fellow returnee D'Angelo Russell on a revised two-year contract.
While the team lost Lonnie Walker IV and Troy Brown Jr. among others, gritty defender and shooter Gabe Vincent signed for a three-year deal immediately following an improbable Finals run as the starting point guard for the Miami Heat.
Taurean Prince was brought in on a one-year deal from Minnesota as a versatile forward who can do a little bit of everything.
Cam Reddish was signed to a minimum deal and looks to be an intriguing prospect with untapped potential for the purple and gold.
From his previous stint in New Orleans new big man Jaxson Hayes hopes to get rotational minutes as an athletic rim runner and man in the middle.
Overall, Buss and Laker fans await the run for ring #18 with nervous anticipation of faces new and old to the team this season.
