Lakers News: LeBron James Makes NBA Scoring History Vs New Orleans

The King is still going strong!

Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James just keeps making history. In the Lakers semi-final matchup of the NBA In-Season Tournament, James became the first player in NBA history to score 30-plus points, five-plus rebounds and five-plus assists in under 23 minutes played.

James played 22 minutes in the game as the Lakers routed the New Orleans Pelicans to grab the victory. He was special throughout the entire game and had multiple viral moments within it as well.

The Lakers star has been doing this all season long, much to the amazement of everyone around him. In Year 21, James is still one of the best players in basketball, which is an incredible thought.

He is doing things on the floor that nobody ever thought would be possible, and he makes the game look so easy. While he isn’t the same player that he once was, James doesn’t seem to be slowing down anytime soon, even at age 38.

He is truly giving Father Time a run for his money, or at the very least, extending his time. James has said that this has been a goal of his lately.

The Lakers are now just one win away from claiming the first-ever NBA In-Season Tournament championship, which would be a special accomplishment for this legendary franchise. They will be taking on the Indiana Pacers in the game on Saturday, in what should be a fun matchup.

LA has been very motivated to win the entire tournament from the jump and they know what is at stake here. We should see a highly energetic team come out from the opening tip-off, and hopefully, they can come away with the title in hand.
