Your Los Angeles Lakers' 2023-24 season has seen some major ups and downs so far this year. They've been hit hard with the injury bug, but have found different ways to keep themselves alive in the standings.

The 15-12 club has dropped its last two contests, and now will be heading out on an important road trip. The team will head to face the Chicago Bulls, and then the Minnesota Timberwolves on the second night of a back-to-back. They then head to Oklahoma City to take on the Thunder.

It won't be an easy trip, and the Lakers have to find a way to go at least 2-1 in the games. Star LeBron James knows this, and he spoke about the upcoming road trip.

"Get some rest, get healthy and try to finish out December the right way... we just got to mentally stay locked in."

Once the road trip ends, the Lakers will come home for a few games. The next big one on the docket is a Christmas Day matchup with the rival Boston Celtics.

The next few games are going to be huge for the Lakers moving forward. They will want to start getting things in order as the calendar flips to 2024, and they know that they have not even reached their potential yet.

With all of the injuries, they haven't had a chance to form chemistry. the hope is that they can get healthy, and we can finally see how this team was supposed to look.

If Los Angeles can't turn things around, or if the club can't start putting together wins on a consistent basis, the front office will need to look into trades to upgrade the team. The trade deadline is only weeks away, so the Lakers will have some big decisions to make coming up.
