The Los Angeles Lakers dropped their game on Friday night to the San Antonio Spurs, getting blown off the court in the process. From the opening jump, San Antonio came out strong and was ready for the Lakers' attack.

LA had taken the Spurs down on Wednesday, so San Antonio was prepared for what they would face off against. The only difference was that LeBron James took the court on Friday, instead of Anthony Davis.

It was the first matchup between James and reigning first-overall pick Victor Wembanyama, who many believe is the next big star of the league. After the game, James gave his thoughts on the Spurs star player.

Wembanyama didn't have a great scoring game the second time around for the Spurs, but he was able to impact the game in other ways. He showed how special he can be in the two matchups, and it's safe to say that James left impressed.

James' knows better than anyone the type of pressure that Wembanyama is under right now, so he made sure to praise him. His ability to step out past the three-point line at his size is impressive, and a major reason why he is seen as a unicorn.

The Spurs took it to the Lakers in the second game, and they deserve all the credit. LA didn't come prepared to play, and San Antonio took advantage of that fact.
