Lakers News: LeBron James Teases Move to Eastern Conference Squad on Instagram Story
Fans of the Los Angeles Lakers have been receiving a ton of great news as of late! They have two new rookies who were just drafted in Jalen Hood-Schifino and Maxwell Lewis along with some un-drafted free agents that found their way to LA, GM Rob Plink confirmed that they will be looking to keep a similar core from last season, and free agency is starting Friday!
Nothing can go terribly wrong right? Well, maybe that was the case until LeBron James decided to tease a potential move to the Atlanta Hawks soon on his Instagram story.
Just like with anything The King posts on his social media platforms, there are always multiple layers to them and he never provides any further insight, especially in the offseason. ESPN dropped their latest 2024 mock draft and slated his eldest son Bronny as the number 17 pick to the Atlanta Hawks.
It is well-known at this point that James would love to finish off his historic NBA career by at least getting to suit up for one season with the young prince. Seeing that James has a player option in his contract for next season, he has all the power in the world to make this happen wherever Bronny gets drafted.
And he made sure everybody knows this with his reaction on Instagram to the Hawks being named a potential landing spot for his son.
Even though this can definitely be looked at as him just saying that he and his family will be attending the games as often as possible, in reference to the '#JamesGang', James likes to toy with the internet.
Atlanta just made a huge trade as they parted ways with a young star in John Collins in exchange for Rudy Gay and a second-rounder as they wanted to get his contract off of their books. That is one less big name that the potential James duo would have to share the ball with and also more money to lure The King in.
Nothing is confirmed nor denied and I do not expect it to be. James uses social media to his power and every time he makes one of these posts, I think it's a reminder to the world to appreciate his greatness!
