If you've been tuned into the Lakers summer like the rest of us here at All Lakers.com, then you know how much of a work horse Lakers Guard, Max Christie has been this offseason.

First, he put excruciating numbers in this year's NBA Summer League, leading a group of undrafted gems in only his second year as a pro.

And now, Christie is putting in some technical work into his game, mimicking a Laker legends style of play that we all are very familiar with.

On Instagram, Max Christie is seen training with NBA skills coach, Drew Hanlan, working on some moves that we've only seen Kobe Bryant master.

Is Christie trying to master Kobe's moves?

It sure seems like it. The clip above shoes him working on a knee-drop hesitation that Laker fans can be way too familiar seeing. If only Kobe Bryant could see the work he's putting in, and there's no doubt that the Black Mamba would be mentoring this young champ.

We've always talked about the ability to perform with a mindset like the Mamba Mentality, and with Christie's last three months, there's no secret he's channeling in his inner Kobe.

The Sophomore Laker finished his Summer League Campaign as one of the best players in Las Vegas. Through three games, he averaged 19.0 points, 6.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists - in fact, he played so well that his name was talked about more than the highly-anticipated draftees, Victor Wenbanyama and Scoot Henderson.

At this rate, with all the good he's being doing on the court, I'd say there's a high chance we could see Christie being very involved in Darwin Ham's plan for the Lakers rotation this season.

I would not mind at all seeing him being a back-up to Austin Reaves. Give me more Max Christie!
