Lakers News: Pro Bowler Claims To Have Beaten LeBron James In Game Of 21
For any sports fan, outspoken and confident players tend to be favorites among the people. It gives fans a chance to see different personalities outside of the game, and it just makes the actual sports being played even more fun.
One of the more outspoken athletes in recent memory has been former NFL wide receiver Chad Johnson. Formerly Chad Ochocinco, Johnson entertained fans every week of his playing days, and he was always one of the more confident guys on the field.
Johnson has never been afraid to speak his mind, and fans loved him for it. Recently Johnson made some waves by saying that he beat Lakers star LeBron James in a game of one-on-one, back when James was in his prime.
This had people questioning if it really happened, but Johnson claims that it did indeed go down.
Johnson was a special athlete during his time, but James was a freak athlete during his days with the Miami Heat. He was the best player in the NBA, and it seems unlikely that Johnson would have been able to take him down, but you never really know to be honest.
Games of one-on-one do come down to luck sometimes, and maybe Johnson did get the best of The King. Either way, this is a fun story and it shows that Johnson still has the flair for the dramatic, even in his post-playing days.
