Lakers News: Watch Lebron James' Epic Slam Against Cavs
Your Los Angeles Lakers returned to their winning ways on Saturday night, defeating the Cleveland Cavaliers on the road, 121-115. The Lakers were in a hard-fought battle with the Cavs all night long, but luckily, they prevailed to capture their tenth win of the season and their third road win of the season.
The Lakers started this four-game road trip on the right note and capped off the game led by their superstar LeBron James. James was back in the city where his NBA career all started, and although he didn't have the best of games, he ended it with an epic slam to seal the deal.
Although the Lakers went on to win the game, James was called for a technical for that slam dunk because he lifted himself while hanging on the rim.
The technical didn't cost the Lakers in any way, and that escaped unscaved. In 38 minutes, James scored 22 points, grabbed six boards, and six assists; however, he only shot 8-for-23 from the field and 1-for-9 from the three-point line.
It wasn't the best of outings for the King, but superstar center Anthony Davis and others stepped up in a considerable way to help propel LA to victory. The slam dunk was the nail in the coffin, and we'll see what else James and the Lakers have in store for us for the rest of the road trip.
