Vanessa Bryant shared an emotional speech at her late husband's statue unveiling on Friday in Los Angeles.

She was welcomed to the stage with a standing ovation, and she began by dedicating the special day to her late husband, Kobe, and his fans.

"Kobe has so many people that have supported him all over the world from the very beginning, and this moment isn't just for Kobe, but it's for all of you that have been rooting for him all of these years.

To the fans here in LA, this is a special city. Kobe was so proud to represent. You welcomed him with open arms and have been so important to him, our family, and his legacy.

It brings me joy to see how much love you have for all of us. We love you back."

She worked directly with the sculptors on creating the performing memorial for her husband. Including little details like their daughters' names tattooed on his arm.

She explained that her husband chose the pose for the statue. She joked with the audience in case anyone didn't like it by saying, "tough s---. It is what it is."

Her beautiful speech concluded with a beautiful quote from her husband.

"I'll leave you with one of my husband's amazing quotes. 'Leave the game better than you found it, and when it comes time for you to leave, leave a legend.' And that he did."
