Lakers Reveal Anthony Davis, Jaxson Hayes Injury Designation for In-Season Tournament Opener vs Suns
The Los Angeles Lakers are coming off their most embarrassing loss of the season, a 34-point beatdown at the hands of the Houston Rockets.
For what went wrong in that game and a solution for the Lakers' struggles, you can click here.
As for the present, the Lakers are looking to quickly get back on track as they play the Phoenix Suns on Friday in the opening round of the NBA In-Season Tournament (here's what you need to know about that).
The Suns are likely to be fully healthy, as their big three of Kevin Durant, Bradley Beal and Devin Booker could play their first game together.
On the Lakers side of things, though, there's much more uncertainty.
Anthony Davis and Jaxson Hayes were officially listed as questionable to play, while Gabe Vincent, Jarred Vanderbilt and Jalen Hood-Schifino were ruled out.
As we saw on Wednesday, the Lakers cannot afford to play another game without AD, especially against a loaded Suns team.
We can only hope that Davis and Hayes are able to play on Friday, or the Lakers may get embarrassed on national television in their In-Season Tournament opener.
We'll continue to provide updates on AD and Hayes leading into Friday's game, so stay tuned on AllLakers.com.
