Lakers News: LeBron James Credits This For His Longevity
Los Angeles Lakers superstar LeBron James is arguably the greatest basketball player of all time. He entered the league in 2003 and immediately became one of the top players in the league. Fast forward to 2023, 20 years later, and James is still widely regarded as one of the top players in the league.
This guy continues to defy the odds and amaze fans game by game. James' 20-year dominance is out of the ordinary, and the 38-year-old credits his trainer, Mark Mancias, for his longevity.
Mancias has been training LeBron for the better part of 15 years now. We all know the amount of money LeBron puts into his body, but it wouldn't be possible without the work he constantly has to do to play at a high level. James has done this for so long that we assume anyone can do this, which they cannot.
To play in the NBA is hard enough, but to play for this long and still be considered a great player in year 20 is unheard of. We cannot take James for granted; when he's right, he's playing at an MVP level and will look to do so come playoff time.
We're happy that LeBron is on our side and is still playing at such a high-level this late into his career. Where would LA be without him or his trainer.
