"WOW WOW WOW!!" were the opening words of a LeBron James Instagram post announcing his most recent career development. Lobos Tequila 1707 Limited Edition Añejo, a product made by Lobos 1707 Tequila and Mezcal.

The blue and gold bottle design is unique, complete with an embossed wolf (lobos means "wolves" in Spanish) on the front filled with 100 percent Agave Azul tequila.

In 2021, the Los Angeles Lakers superstar partnered with Lobos 1707, an independent spirits producer started in 2020. The Lobos 1707 Añejo was awarded a gold medal at the 2023 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. The spirit is aged for 12-18 months in American white oak barrels and is "best appreciated near or over ice," according to a press release from Lobos 1707.

"It's exciting to see how Lobos 1707 continues to build on our legacy of smooth and tasteful tequila for everyone to enjoy," said LeBron James. "I'm proud to help welcome this limited edition Añejo tequila to our incredible lineup of tequila and mezcal, all with the shared mission to give everyone a seat at the table."

Prices of Lobos 1707 range from $49 to $159 with James' new tequila falling in the middle at $99. The new product is available in major retailers in California (among other select states) or on the Lobos 1707 website.

If you are interested in purchasing a bottle, the hunt begins now. Only 9,000 bottles were produced and are likely to sell out quickly.

His partnership with Lobos 1707 is one of James' many investments outside of basketball. In May 2023, the four-time champion officially became a billionaire. James owns equity in Blaze Pizza, the Fenway Sports Group, SpringHill Entertainment and many other companies.

James is one of the wealthiest athletes in history and, as seen in his latest product launch, he is still on the climb up.
