LeBron James Reveals Only Lakers Teammate He’s Trained With This Offseason
For anyone who has followed Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James over the course of his career, you know that James is very particular with whom he spends his offseason workouts with. He is a creature of habit, and he wants to make sure that he is all ready to go for the season.
So, when James does work out with someone, it’s normally a teammate or someone that he sees is worth working out with. During this offseason, it seems that James hardly worked out with anyone, but he did spend a lot of time with one member of the Lakers.
James and forward Rui Hachimura spent a ton of time together this summer, as Hachimura wants to learn how to better prepare for the season. He showed some of his untapped potential last season with LA, but he wants to improve on things this year.
Coming out of college, Hachimura had a lot of hype, but he never lived up to it with the Washington Wizards. But now, he is determined to try and get that back with the Lakers, and working out with James certainly should help things.
Hachimura signed back with LA this offseason, and now he wants to prove that the contract was warranted. He wants to get back to the winning ways he felt last season, and the best way for that to happen is for him to step his game up.
If he can become a consistent three-point shooter, Hachimura will be a scary option for LA on the offensive end of the floor. He was dominant beyond the three-point line during the playoffs, and it unlocked so much for the Los Angeles offense.
After working out with James, hopefully, Hachimura can step his game up this coming season. This will certainly be something to watch as the year goes on.
