LeBron James Status, Lakers Starters Revealed Vs Washington
Darvin Ham has revealed that 39-year-old Los Angeles Lakers All-Star forward LeBron James, who had been a game-time decision, will indeed suit up for the second night of a back-to-back pair of bouts, when the 32-28 Lakers will host the 9-49 Washington Wizards.
Accordingly, Los Angeles will trot out the new-look starting five that has now gone 7-1 in their games tipping off together: D’Angelo Russell will run the point, Austin Reaves will start at the two, James will play at small forward, Rui Hachimura will jump at power forward, and All-Star center Anthony Davis will man the middle.
LA is a -9.5 point favorite tonight to get the job done against a tanking team that can’t wait for the offseason to start. With James now locked in, one assumes the Lakers can handily clear that spread.
