One of the best parts of this new digital age is seeing and hearing some of the older NBA players talk about the game. It can range from podcasts, interviews or even just them recording videos themselves. But it allows us as fans to gain more perspective

Former Laker great Jerry West recently did an interview with Dan Patrick on The Dan Patrick Show and it was just informative. Hearing West talk about all sorts of things relating to basketball is always a joy because of how legendary his life has been.

One of the topics that was discussed was Patrick asking West who his personal all-time team was and his answer included two Laker greats.

“Well there’s three players that would be on there right away, okay. One of them is presently playing, LeBron James. Uh, Kobe Bryant, Michael Jordan. I would take those three players because the uniqueness of the game today, it’s almost a position-less league.”

His answer will likely bode well with Laker fans and his list would be pretty hard to top even if he stopped there, West mentioned three of the greatest players of all-time here. Two of them are arguably seen as the greatest of all-time so this team would be tough to beat.

West has a way of speaking that just allows people to gravitate and listen. It's refreshing to hear him talk about the game today as he gives off all his knowledge from both his playing days and front office career.
