Lakers News: NBA Official Nicknamed "The Extender" Being Brought In For LA-Golden State Game 4

Your Los Angeles Lakers could create even more distance between themselves and the higher-seeded Golden State Warriors tonight in the pivotal fourth game of their best-of-seven second round series.
LA currently leads Golden State 2-1, and will once again play host to the Dubs at Crypto.com Arena.
Now, it appears that the NBA may be doing what it can to potentially lengthen the series, as the league has brought in referee Scott "The Extender" Foster, infamous for his apparent dislike of Chris Paul, to serve as the contest's lead officiant, per Clutch Points.
All across NBA Twitter, fans have already been piling on their share of jokes about Foster's ability to draw out series.

Josiah Johnson used a very LA-core clip to allude to the fact that the Warriors were in for a surprising revival:

When it comes to the two top stars historically in this Warriors-Lakers matchup, Stephen Curry and LeBron James (although Anthony Davis has been LA's most important player in this series), Foster is typically more generous with them than most:

This is fairly unrelated to tonight, but even D'Angelo Russell knows how much Scott Foster loathes Chris Paul:

A retro Miami Heat-era LeBron James clip was unspooled from the archives for another excellent Foster reaction:

Prove us wrong, Scott. Call the game like it should be called.
