Following a blowout Game 6 victory, your Los Angeles Lakers will get an opportunity to rest their aching bones over the weekend, while whoever their next-round playoff opponent is sweats out a Game 7 on Sunday.

In the meantime, Jovan Buha of The Athletic has revealed the Lakers' schedule for the Western Conference Semifinals, which regardless of the team's next opponent will be played against another Pacific Division, northern California-based team (i.e. a very brief plane ride).

Games will be played every other day starting Tuesday, a brief rest schedule that would favor a younger club like the Sacramento Kings. The Golden State Warriors might have that championship DNA, but three of their four best players are all 32 or older, which puts them more or less on par with the Lakers' two core pieces, 38-year-old All-Star forward LeBron James and 30-year-old center Anthony Davis.

Los Angeles will be the underdog against either opponent, as it was during its first round 2-7 matchup against the Grizzlies. That obviously didn't stop the Lakers from getting off to a 3-1 series leading and eventually closing things out in six games.

Both the Kings and Warriors are healthier than the Grizzlies were, as Memphis was missing two of its seven best players for every game of the series, its best player for one game (although to be fair the Grizz won that Game 2), and another key bench piece for what wound up being its closeout matchup last night.

Can LA beat the defending champs or the upstart Kings? Time will tell, but at least Los Angeles will be better-rested to kick off the series.
