Your Los Angeles Lakers road trip comes to an end tonight, when the Lakers return to their homecourt, Crypto.com Arena... to play a "road" game against their fellow Crypto.com Arena lessees, Russell Westbrook's Los Angeles Clippers.

The Lakers will look a bit different on the hardwood than they did last night in a too-close-for-comfort 135-133 overtime road victory against the Utah Jazz's scrubs, when 30+ year-old stars LeBron James and Anthony Davis each played 38 minutes or more to preserve the win.

Starting Lakers point guard D'Angelo Russell, who sat out yesterday, is back in LA's first five.

Yours truly assumed that Davis and James would sit.

Head coach Darvin Ham will start Russell at the point, Austin Reaves at shooting guard, James at small forward, and Jarred Vanderbilt and Davis at center. Thus, the Lakers will be trotting out their optimal new-look starting five against a Clippers club that will be missing All-Star forward Paul George, who continues to sit as he recovers from a right foot knee sprain. Westbrook, who came off the bench for the Lakers, is the Clippers' starting point guard.

Another Laker is returning to the lineup for the first time in a month, per Jovan Buha of The Athletic: reserve center Mo Bamba, who had been out with a left high ankle sprain.
