Lakers News: These 5 LA Players Cannot Be Traded Until December

Who could be on the move, if anyone?
In this story:

The NBA has a clause in it that any free agent that signs with a team, can't be traded for three months or until December 15, whichever is later.

This year, the Lakers have a couple interesting names that might be on the move around that time, or before the NBA trade deadline a couple months later.

Let's take a look at some of the names on that list:

Jaxson Hayes

The former Texas Longhorn averages 7.5 points per game over his career, and he could be a nice little addition off the bench for some added depth, which the Lakers definitely need.

Taurean Prince

A great pickup by the Lakers over the free agency season, he could also add a little bit of depth, and maybe give LeBron a rest every now and then. The former Baylor Bear has averaged 10.4 points per game over his career.

Cam Reddish

All three of these names have been first rounders, but Cam Reddish might have a legitimate shot at being a legitimate starter for the Lakers.

If he could force his way into the starting five, I think it would be hard to trade him at all, but let's see how hard Max Christie fights for starting reps.

D'Angelo Russell

If Gabe Vincent beats out Russell for the starting point guard spot, he's a name I could see being moved sooner rather than later.

Truth is, the Lakers need depth to keep LeBron and Anthony Davis healthy, so Russell might get a lot more playing time than we think.

Gabe Vincent

Here's the other half of the D'Angelo Russell problem. If Vincent doesn't like the way he's being used, could he be gone by the trade deadline?

Do you think any new Lakers are going to be traded after December 15? If so, who?
