Tonight, your Los Angeles Lakers will try to turn in a stronger potential closeout effort in a playoff Game 5 than they did in the first round of these Western Conference playoffs against the Memphis Grizzlies.

Following a strong 104-101 Game 4 victory at home, LA now leads the Golden State Warriors 3-1 in the two teams' ongoing second round series.

Vegas oddsmakers believe the Warriors are heavy favorites to keep the series alive at the Chase Center tonight, per The Action Network. Let's take a look at some other odds and lines.

The Game Spread

The Warriors started off the day as five-point favorites to extend the series at home, but the line has since moved to 7.5 points. Golden State is a proud team, the reigning 2022 champion, and will most likely be able to at least salvage a win in San Francisco tonight. I think the Warriors will cover the spread and win by 10.

Will LeBron James Notch A Double-Double?

The Lakers' All-Star small forward has +100 odds to log a double-double tonight. James has only logged a double-double once in the previous four games of the series, a 22-point, 11-rebound turn during LA's 117-112 Game 1 road victory. He also turned in four double-doubles across the Lakers' six-game first round series against the higher-seeded Memphis Grizzlies, a series where he generally played closer to the basket. I think a lot of this depends on how close this game is about halfway through the third quarter. If it appears that Los Angeles will have to fight another day, James may rest on his laurels. Given that the odds favor that, I think he'll miss out on a double-double yet again.

Draymond Green's Total Points

The over/under for the All-Defensive Second Teamer's total offensive output is set at 8.5 points. He has actually only scored above that over once, in the Warriors' Game 2 blowout win over the Lakers (their sole victory of the series). Green scored 11 points on 5-of-10 shooting in that contest. The 6'6" forward is averaging just 8.8 points on 42.9% field goal shooting through the series to date. Then again, Golden State's back is against the wall, and the club's de facto team leader may be a bit more motivated to get involved in his team's offense tonight. Look for him to cover.
