Lakers News: Watch Bryce James Toy with Defenders on New AAU Squad

It looks like it's borderline unfair.
In this story:

Bryce James, the younger son of Los Angeles Lakers All-Star small forward LeBron James, has slowly become a name to look out for in the AAU ranks. His athleticism really seems unmatched wherever he goes, and it looks like he's just having fun messing with other players around his AAU league.

I mean come on, that first clip is NASTY. He had the defender looking like he needed a map.

He also slams home a couple dunks that look like he's already ready to tear up the NBA. But let's not forget.

HE'S ONLY 16!!

Before he even makes it to college, people are already comparing him to his brother, and saying that he might even be better than Bronny.

But that's not what I'm here to do. I mean we can see the plays that Bryce is capable of, it's just a matter of keeping that consistently through his high school career, and even into his college career.

The names of high school athletes with NIL deals is pretty elite, including some like Arch Manning, who just graduated, and Jada Williams, who is a star basketball player. So the fact that Bryce has an NIL deal heading into his junior year is pretty remarkable.

Of course having one of the best basketball players of all time as your dad doesn't hurt.

But ultimately it boils down to this. Can Bryce James stay healthy, stay consistent and stay competitive at the high school ranks?

My first thoughts after watching that clip were 'absolutely' and 'yeah he's going to dominate the next level'. But it's not about the numbers he puts up on the AAU level that matter, it's about how he performs against other high school talent.

And with the recent news that he's looked into transfer schools, I'm really excited to see how he could perform on one of California's biggest stages.

What do you think, will Bryce be better than Bronny?
