The Philadelphia 76ers will be without their reigning MVP for their Christmas clash against the Orlando Magic.

According to Sixers Wire editor Ky Carlin, Joel Embiid is out tomorrow against the Magic with an ankle injury.

Embiid missed Monday's game on Christmas with the same injury and may be out for a longer period of time.

Embiid won the Eastern Conference Player of the Week this past week, and has been averaging 35 points, 11.7 rebounds and 6.7 assists per game so far this season.

The Magic plays the Washington Wizards tonight, but returns home to face the Sixers tomorrow night. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
