The Orlando Magic is eliminated from postseason play with a 34-48 record as the No. 25 overall seed in the NBA, and are in favorable standing for the 2023 Draft lottery.

Per NBA.com, the odds are as follows for each lottery team:

Team 1 > 14.0%, Team 2 > 14.0%, Team 3 >14.0%

Team 4 > 12.5%

Team 5 > 10.5%

Team 6 > 9.0%

Team 7 > 7.5%

Team 8 > 4.5%

Team 9 > 4.5%

Team 10 > 4.5%

Team 11 > 1.8%

Team 12 > 1.7%

Team 13 > 1.0%

Team 14 > 0.5%

With the regular season in the books, the Detroit Pistons (1), San Antonio Spurs (2) and Houston Rockets (3) own joint-14 percent odds. Right after them, the Charlotte Hornets (4) and Portland Trail Blazers (5) will have 12.5 and 10.5 percent chances.

Then comes Orlando. As 'Team 6,' the Magic has nine percent odds. Their chances at a top three selection are strong, but may not have enough balls in the lottery machine to luck up on incumbent No. 1 overall pick Victor Wembanyama.

Orlando won the lottery a season ago, selecting Rookie of the Year hopeful Paolo Banchero first.

The last time a team that wasn't in the bottom-three of the standings won the lottery was in 2019, when the 33-49 New Orleans Pelicans were the eighth-worst team that year. They wound up taking Zion Williamson out of Duke University.

On the Magic's heels are the Washington Wizards (7), Indiana Pacers (8), Utah Jazz (9) and Dallas Mavericks (10). The Wizards own 7.5 percent chances while the Pacers, Jazz and Mavericks each have their own 4.5 percent portion. The remaining four teams will be determined after the play-in tournament.
