Magic Starting 5: Lakers SG Austin Reaves to Orlando?

The Magic Insider lists five of the biggest NBA storylines in addition to relevant Orlando Magic news and analysis.
Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports
In this story:

1. LAKERS GUARD TO MAGIC?

"Others who could look to do the same include the Oklahoma City Thunder, Utah Jazz, Detroit Pistons, Orlando Magic and Indiana Pacers," Bleacher Report writes. "At 6'5", Reaves is capable both on the ball as a lead guard and off the ball as a shooter. Expect him back with L.A. next season, but another team could make the process more difficult and expensive."

2. GARY HARRIS TO WARRIORS?

"Assuming the Dubs don't have a massive trade budget, then, they might ditch any hopes of increasing their star power and instead focus on finding more stability in their supporting cast," Bleacher Report writes. "They could have enough assets to swing a Harris deal, and he, in turn, could quickly emerge as one of their more reliable role players."

3. REDICK INTERVIEWS WITH RAPTORS

A former member of the Orlando Magic is eyeing one of the league's head coach openings.

According to ESPN, JJ Redick is interviewing for the Toronto Raptors to be the team's next coach. The Raptors fired Nick Nurse shortly after the season ended after five years with the team.

Redick played 15 years in the NBA, including his first 6.5 seasons with the Magic, which drafted him 11th overall in the 2006 draft.

4. TONIGHT'S PLAYOFF GAMES

Boston Celtics vs. Philadelphia 76ers, 7:30 p.m. EST, ESPN (76ers lead 3-2)

Denver Nuggets vs. Phoenix Suns, 10 p.m. EST, ESPN (Nuggets lead 3-2)

5. NBA DRAFT LOTTERY COUNTDOWN

The Magic is five days away from the NBA Draft Lottery, where it will be revealed if Orlando will have the opportunity to take Victor Wembanyama with the No. 1 overall pick.
