Memphis Grizzlies vs. Orlando Magic: 3 Best Bets
With nine games left in the season, the Orlando Magic is two games behind the New York Knicks for the fourth seed and home-court advantage in the first round of the NBA playoffs. For the second time this season, the Magic will take on the Memphis Grizzlies as it attempts to rise up in the standings and make a final push.
Memphis beat Orlando in the earlier matchup this season, although the injured Grizzlies have only won two of their last ten and are playing for lottery odds at this point. Ravaged by injuries all season, they are expected to lose to the Magic tonight.
Markelle Fultz is questionable for the Magic, and the Grizzlies continue to have a loaded injury reort. Ja Morant, Ziaire Williams, Derrick Rose, Marcus Smart, Santi Aldama, Desmond Bane, Vince Williams, John Konchar, and Yuta Watanabe are all out.

Our Picks
Safe pick: Paolo Banchero OVER 22.5 points (-110)
Paolo Banchero has averaged a respectable 18.6 points over his last five games and a not-great 23.1 three-point percentage. However, the Magic are playing to win tonight and the Grizzlies simply are out of contention and want to land the best draft pick possible, so expect a lackluster defensive effort against Banchero, who should get back on track.
Opponent pick: Luke Kennard OVER 10.5 points (-125)
Kennard has missed the last five games and has been in and out of the lineup all season, but if he plays, expect a solid night from him. He is one of the league's best shooters, with 45.4 percent of his threes this season. With the Magic getting to an early lead (hopefully), Kennard will be a second thought on defense.
Team pick: Magic -13.5 (-105)
The Magic has lost three in a row, but before that they won five games by an average margain of 13.6 points. Those three losses were all to Play-In or playoff-bound teams, so against the Grizzlies an their miserable season, the Magic should be able to get back on track.
