ORLANDO - The Orlando Magic is getting its swagger back after a 118-88 win against the Memphis Grizzlies on Saturday night at the Kia Center.

The Magic played on another level compared to the Grizzlies, who have been ravaged by injuries all year long. Simply put, it wasn't that fair of a fight. However, the Magic doesn't care. The team needs wins and it will take them in any way, shape or form.

The blowout win after three consecutive close losses at home was necessary for the team to be able to get back on track.

"I think the last couple games we played pretty solid in those other games and obviously couldn’t kind of finish them off down the stretch or stretches throughout the game," Joe Ingles said postgame. "We were still playing well but obviously now to put it all together and obviously with the injuries that, that groups got and it kind of makes it a little bit harder too. They always play hard, they play the right way, but we’re happy to make a lot of shots and get the stops when we needed tonight.”

Wendell Carter Jr. also chimed in after the win and claimed that the energy in the locker room is building as the team continues to pile victories and inch closer to the postseason.

“It just shows that we’re resilient," Carter Jr. said. "We try not to put too much focus on each game, you know, after the game is played. We kind of look at making sure that we play to our standard; win, lose, or draw. At the end of the day, we dropped three that were very winnable games. We kind of look at those – we used that as fuel going into this game tonight and I think it was a good opportunity just to get our swagger back. I think our swag has been kind of off. Yeah. That’s really about it.”

The Magic is back in action tomorrow night against the Portland Trail Blazers. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
