ORLANDO - While the NBA playoffs are underway, teams in the lottery are doing the homework on players they hope can get them to the postseason.

Among those players is Baylor shooting guard Keyonte George, who projects to be a top-10 pick in this summer's NBA Draft.

SI's Draft Digest suggests George could be an option for the Orlando Magic with one of its two lottery picks.

"Despite not having the positional size that Orlando has sought in recent years, George, with some development, could offer a nice mix of both traditional point guard and hyper-active shooting guard," Draft Digest writes.

"A stocky bucket-getter who saw some ups-and-downs in his lone season with the Baylor Bears, George showcased a nice shooting stroke, solid off-ball scoring and flashed real potential as a primary handler and playmaker at times with Baylor ... Alongside Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner and Fultz, George could be used as a primary handler situationally, but would otherwise function as an off-ball scorer."

George averaged 15.3 points in his lone season at Baylor and shot 33.8 percent from distance. He is talented as a scorer and could walk into Orlando as an immediate contributor towards its by-committee approach.

His place in the rotation alongside Jalen Suggs, Cole Anthony and Markelle Fultz may be questionable, but it's hard to deny George's talent and it may be too much for the Magic to pass up if he's available when the team is on the clock.
