Nuggets Guard Bruce Brown to Magic in Free Agency?

The Orlando Magic could sign an upgrade in the backcourt in free agency by signing Denver Nuggets guard Bruce Brown.
In this story:

ORLANDO - The Denver Nuggets are one win away from an championship and could clinch the franchise's first title tonight at home in Game 5 of the NBA Finals.

The Nuggets are in this position large in part to the fact that they have been the most complete team this postseason. Among those players who have contributed to their success is Bruce Brown, who scored 21 points off the bench in Denver's Game 4 win.

Brown signed a one-year contract with the Nuggets last offseason and is set to hit the open market again. Bleacher Report suggested that the Orlando Magic should target Brown in free agency.

"Brown is a 6'4" wing but can act as a big at times, playing off guards in the pick-and-roll while still possessing the ability to handle the ball, shoot threes and defend," Bleacher Report writes.

Brown, a second-round pick back in 2018, has improved in every season he's been in the league. In his lone season with the Nuggets, he's played his best basketball yet, averaging 11.5 points per game while primarily coming off the bench.

Brown could receive interest in free agency as a starter, and if he came to the Magic, there's a chance that Orlando would slot him into the starting shooting guard role next to Markelle Fultz in the backcourt.

Brown is due for a raise this offseason, and the Nuggets could easily be the team that gives it to him, but if a team out-bids Denver and offers him a starting role, the former Miami Hurricanes guard could be on his third team in as many years.
