NBA Power Rankings: Magic Win Streak Prompts Rise?

The Orlando Magic have won three straight games. Where does that put them in this week's power rankings?
In this story:

ORLANDO - The Orlando Magic are winners of three straight road games, which has the team in high spirits.

It's the first time the Magic have won three straight games since late November and early December when the team grabbed nine consecutive victories. The winning ways have the Magic also advancing in CBS Sports' power rankings. After slotting in at No. 16 a week ago, the team has jumped four spots to No. 12.

"Good week for the Magic, who took care of the Spurs and Pistons with a big road win over the Timberwolves in between," CBS Sports writes. "The defense was on point, allowing 102 points per 100 possessions, while the offense was led by 26 points per game from Franz Wagner and 23 points, seven assists and five rebounds from All-Star Paolo Banchero."

Trade Rumors: Magic Linked to Blazers Guards Before Deadline

The Magic's road trip wraps up tonight when they take on the Miami Heat at the Kaseya Center. Then, the team returns home for a pair of games against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday and the Chicago Bulls on Saturday. If the team can continue to stack wins, they could easily find themselves inside the top 10 in a week from now.
