Orlando Magic Center Goga Bitadze Gives Props to Cleveland Cavaliers Bigs
The front court duo of Jarrett Allen and Evan Mobley is one of the scariest in the league, and the Orlando Magic will have to deal with them in its next game.
The Magic lost to the Cleveland Cavaliers 121-111 on Wednesday, as Donovan Mitchell had a spectacular game, but the bigs of the Cavs played a big role as well.
Mobley and Allen are both very versatile and can get it done wherever they are needed. Mobley finished the game with 16 points, and Allen led all players in the game in rebounds with 11. Magic center Goga Bitadze spoke more about how good Allen and Mobley are in his postgame interview.
"We know those big guys are great rollers you know we got to take them early. Box them out," Bitadze said. "They're great offensive rebounders and just run them down and just be smart with our decisions. They were shot blockers as well. So we got to be smart and I think we were ready to do that."
Mobley and Allen are both averaging great point and rebound numbers, are they are also both Defensive Player of the Year candidates, and most likely will be for years to come. Teams have to plan for the duo not just on the offensive side, but on the defensive side as well.
