Magic Cooking at Home in Win vs. Raptors

The Orlando Magic began their eight-game homestand on the right foot in a win against the Toronto Raptors.

ORLANDO - The Orlando Magic are experiencing déjà vu after beating the Toronto Raptors 111-96 on Sunday night at the Kia Center.

It was the second win in as many games for the Magic against the Raptors after the two teams met in Toronto on Friday night.

Similar to Friday's win, the Magic struggled to pull ahead in the first half, but the team didn't have those same issues once it came out of the locker room.

Paolo Banchero led the Magic with a game-high 29 points while Franz Wagner added 22 of his own.

Jordan Nwora led the Raptors in scoring with 18 off the bench.

The win for the Magic keeps them in the thick of things in the Eastern Conference standings, now just 0.5 game behind the New York Knicks for the coveted No. 4 seed.

The Magic continue their eight-game homestand when the team hosts the Charlotte Hornets on Tuesday night. Tipoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. ET.
